abstract

the human facial recognition is the base for all facial processing systems. in this work a basicmethod is presented for the reduction of detection time in fixed image with different color levels.the proposed method is the simplest approach in face spatial localization, since it doesn’trequire the dynamics of images and information of the color of skin in image background. inaddition, to do face recognition, there is no need for the existence of image. for the extraction offacial features, the combination of knowledge-based and morphological image processingmethods is utilized, which has a high accuracy, compared to other methods. the proposedmethod is analyzed by matlab software and tested on different images which demonstratedhigh accuracy and efficiency of the method.

FaceDCAPTCHA: Face detection based color image CAPTCHA

With data theft and computer break-ins becoming increasingly common, there is a great need for secondary authentication to reduce automated attacks while posing a minimal hindrance to legitimate users. CAPTCHA is one of the possible ways to classify human users and automated scripts. Though textbased CAPTCHAs are used inmany applications, they pose a challenge due to language dependency. In thi...

Morphological operations for color image processing

{ The use of mathematical morphology in low and mid-level image processing and computer vision applications has allowed the development of a class of techniques for analyzing shape information in monochrome images. In this paper these techniques are extended to color images. We investigate two approaches for \color morphology": a vector approach, in which color vectors are ranked using a multiv...

Early Detection of Diabetic Retinopathy in Fluorescent Angiography Retinal Images Using Image Processing Methods

Introduction: Diabetic retinopathy (DR) is the single largest cause of sight loss and blindness in the working age population of Western countries; it is the most common cause of blindness in adults between 20 and 60 years of age. Early diagnosis of DR is critical for preventing vision loss so early detection of microaneurysms (MAs) as the first signs of DR is important. This paper addresses th...

New Windows based Color Morphological Operators for Biomedical Image Processing

Morphological image processing is well known as an efficient methodology for image processing and computer vision. With the wide use of color in many areas, the interest on the color perception and processing has been growing rapidly. Many models have been proposed to extend morphological operators to the field of color images, dealing with some new problems not present previously in the binary...
